(Posted on BioFuels Journal, March 3, 2010) Sioux Falls, SD—Dale Tolifson has joined the American Coalition for Ethanol (ACE) Board of Directors as a representative of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association.
Dale and his wife, Sandy, farm near Benson, Minnesota. He serves on the Board of the Minnesota Corn Growers Association and now as Vice Chairman of Chippewa Valley Ethanol Co. (CVEC) after 13 years as its Chairman. He is also a member of the National Corn Growers Association's Ethanol Committee. "We are honored to have Dale Tolifson representing Minnesota corn growers on our board," said Brian Jennings, Executive Vice President of ACE. "He understands ethanol from the perspectives of a farmer and an ethanol producer, and his leadership will be invaluable as ACE takes on ethanol's critics with the facts about the efficiency of ag and ethanol production, the industry's ability to create American jobs, and the need for more renewable choices at the pump." "I am proud to join the Board of Directors of the American Coalition for Ethanol because I think ACE is a great grassroots organization that has an important role to play in promoting policies and developing new markets for ethanol," Tolifson said.
